1. Bối Cảnh Khách Hàng
NSRF là lọc dầu joint venture lớn ở Việt Nam, vận hành đầy đủ chuỗi từ atmospheric distillation đến hydrocracker, FCC, và delayed coker unit. Coker unit là cụm khắc nghiệt nhất:
- Feed: vacuum residue 350°C+ từ vacuum tower
- Operating temp: 450-550°C trong coke drum
- Medium: hydrocarbon vapor + carbon particles (cốc) + sulfur compounds
- Cycle: mỗi coke drum switch mỗi 16-24 giờ (filling → de-coking → switching)
- Switching valve duty: isolate dòng feed giữa 2 drum mỗi cycle
Mỗi MSIV ở power plant chỉ stroke vài lần/năm; coker switching valve stroke 365-500 lần/năm. Cộng với hạt cốc cứng + nhiệt độ cao, soft-seated valve life expectancy chỉ 6-12 tháng.
2. Vấn Đề Trước Khi Hợp Tác MVT
NSRF cần VELAN Securaseal® metal-seated ball valve — sản phẩm specialty cho coker, được proven trên 90+ delayed coker unit toàn cầu. Tuy nhiên:
- Aftermarket Việt Nam không có — Securaseal không phải catalogue product chung; đặt theo configuration mỗi project
- Lead time direct từ Canada: 12-14 tuần (thực tế thường delay thành 16+ tuần)
- Vendor confusion: một số trader nhầm lẫn VELAN Pressure Seal (power plant) với VELAN Securaseal (coker) — chào sai model, NSRF reject sau khi nhận hàng
- Technical depth thiếu: trader không biết chọn V-port vs full-port, hardfacing material cho hạt cốc
- Không có local QA — pre-delivery test phải làm tại workshop OEM ở Canada / India
